CROWN POINT – Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point recognized 244 volunteers during its 38th annual Auxiliary Appreciation Awards Luncheon in the Marian Education Center.
Collectively, the volunteers logged 54,325 hours last year. They received pins for service hours ranging from 100 hours to 27,000 hours, which was earned by Vivian Kelby.
Receiving American Hospital Association Healthcare Auxiliary award for 2,500 hours or more were Mary Bixenman, Sandra Niemeyer, Fred Burger, Jewell Norris, Bill Jenkins and Raymond Popyk.
A total of 36 volunteers were honors for hours ranging from 3,000 hours to 22,000, which was earned by Betty Jane Wagner.
