SJC to Host Social Dance Class

Saint Joseph’s College is offering Social Dance Basics, a dance class that will include the basic steps of the East Coast Swing, the Waltz, the Night Club Two-Step, and the Foxtrot in addition to Line and Mixer dances.  SJC to host social dance class in six-sessions and will be taught by SJC Assistant Professor of Physical Education Dr. Gary Sanders, an award-winning dance instructor who has taught at state, national, and international conferences.

Classes will be held in the Richard F. Scharf Alumni Fieldhouse from 6:30 to 8:00 pm CDT on the Saturdays of October 17, October 24, October 31, November 7, November 14, and November 21.

No experience is necessary, but all participants must bring a partner of their own. The cost is $150 per couple.
