            VALPARAISO – Porter Health system has announced the contractors that will be working on the next phase of its new hospital project at the corner of U.S. 6 and Indiana 49.

            They are Acorn Fence of Hammond for fences and gates; Twin Oaks Landscaping of Oswego, Ill., for landscaping and irrigation; HWZ Contracting of Hamilton, Ohio, for lightweight concrete roof insulation; Ziolkowski Construction of South Bend for masonry; Pride Systems Solution of Johnson City, Tenn., for unistrut, channel framing and equipment supports; Sphon Associates Inc. of Indianapolis for ornamental metal and railings; Ram Construction Services of Livonia, Mich., for expansion control, waterproofing and caulking; J.P. Phillips Inc. of Franklin Park, Ill., for exterior insulation and finish systems; E.C. Babilla Inc. of Gary, roofing contractor; Midwest Fireproofing LLC of Frankfort, Ill., fireproofing contractor; LaForce Inc. of Willowbrook, Ill., for doors, frames and hardware; Industrial Door of Northern Indiana of South Bend for coiling doors and grilles; Besam Automatic Entrances of Elk Grove, Ill., for automatic entrance doors; Precision Wall Systems of South Bend for glass and glazing; Thorne Associates of Chicago for drywall; Midwest Tile & Interiors Inc. of Mishawaka for hard tile and flooring; Ascher Brothers Co. of Chicago for painting and wallcovering; and Unistrut International of Indianapolis for access flooring.

            Also Paul Reilly of Glendale Heights Ill., for loading dock equipment; McAfee Medical LLC of Mount Joliet, Tenn., for medical equipment; Stevens Industries Inc. of Teutopolis, Ill., for manufactured casework; Zeigler’s Window Coverings of Fort Wayne for window treatments; Lindgren RF Enclosures of Glendale Heights, Ill., for radiation protection; Otis Elevator Co. of Chicago, elevators; R.O.I. Systems (Pevco) of Lake Zurich, Ill., for pneumatic tube systems; and Ryan Fire Protection of Valparaiso, for fire protection.

            Contracts still to be awarded are for testing, adjusting and balancing, and for protective covers.
