GARY – Methodist Hospitals has opened an outpatient behavioral health services program at its Northlake Campus in Gary.
“We believe it is important for Methodist Hospitals to demonstrate its commitment to the mental and emotional health of the communities we serve by providing the full continuum of inpatient and outpatient care,” said Dr. Paul Hannah, medical director of Methodist Hospital's Behavioral Health Services.
The program will occupy space near but separate from the inpatient unit. As an alternative to or transition from inpatient care, the outpatient program will provide individual, group and family therapy to adults suffering from anxiety or depression, rage, grief and loss, adjustment problems and chronic mental illness.
