Methodist Hospitals names three new assistant vice presidents

Methodist Hospitals recently promoted staff executives Kim Innes, Julie Kerns and Dena McCormick to assistant vice president.

Kim Innes
Kim Innes

Innes has served as Methodist Hospital’s orthopedics line director for more than six years.

Innes has more than 20 years of strategic planning, business development and team building experience in the healthcare industry. She also spearheaded the opening of the Methodist Hospitals CareFirst clinics in Crown Point and Merrillville.

Innes holds a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.

 Julie Kerns
Julie Kerns

Kerns has worked at Methodist Hospitals for 15 years. Her career at Methodist began as an RN and most recently served as director of nursing quality and regulatory compliance.

Kerns holds a master’s degree in health informatics from the University of Illinois-Chicago.

Dena McCormick
Dena McCormick

McCormick has worked at Methodist Hospitals for 11 years. She has more than 20 years of experience in health care quality and regulatory compliance.

McCormick has a master’s degree in business administration from Governor’s State University.
