Northwest Indiana fans of Chicago-style deep-dish pizza from Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria may not have to wait much longer to place an order at a Region-based location.
A representative for the Northbrook, Ill.-based firm in an email to Northwest Indiana Business Magazine June 11 said the company is “aiming for an early July opening” of its Schererville location at 36 Indianapolis Blvd. in the Town Square Shopping Center, also home to T.J. Maxx, Old Navy and Bed Bath & Beyond. A specific date had not been determined, according to the Lou Malnati’s representative.
The company has been actively hiring staff for its
Schererville location. The company said previously that it expected to hire up to 35 people for the site, which will be its 58th overall.
The Schererville Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria will only provide carry-out, delivery and catering services.
