Ivy Tech Community College announced Nov 12 it won 14 awards at the recent National Council for Marketing and Public Relations Professionals district conference in Toledo, Ohio.
Ivy Tech earned four gold medals, three silver medals and seven bronze medals for a variety of marketing projects and initiatives at the NCMPR awards for the 2017-18 academic year. The national association represents marketing and communications professionals at two-year colleges.
Sue Ellspermann, Ivy Tech President, was also honored at the ceremony as the 2018 NCMPR District 3 Pacesetter of the Year. The award recognizes community college presidents or CEOs who exhibit exceptional leadership and support in college communications and marketing. Ellspermann’s work to provide Hoosiers with pathways to high-value, high-demand credentials through the creation and implementation of Ivy Tech’s strategic plan was what earned her the honor.
Ivy Tech has earned more than 250 NCMPR awards in addition to several national awards for its branding and marketing campaigns through the years.
