HRP Construction New Ownership

SOUTH BEND – Matthew D. Cain is the new owner and president of HRP Construction Inc. in South Bend, Indiana. Earlier this month, Cain purchased all outstanding shares of the company and assumed the presidency.

Cain has held several positions with HRP over the last 20 years, most recently serving as vice president. He joined HRP shortly after receiving a bachelor’s degree in building construction and management from Purdue University.

Cain’s acquisition represents the company’s third successful change in ownership and
executive leadership. The previous shareholder and president, Paul Fallon, remains with the company as a director, officer and employee.

Cain resides in Granger with his wife, Wendy, and two children.

For over 35 years, HRP Construction has provided installation and maintenance for sewers, water mains and treatment facilities as well as general excavating services primarily to municipal, commercial and institutional customers throughout northern Indiana.

HRP is licensed to perform work in both Indiana and Michigan and holds high state prequalification limits with the Indiana Department of Transportation. The company is also prequalified by the Indiana State Port Commission, the Indiana Department of Administration (Public Works), and numerous other agencies and municipalities.
