HOBART – Local Chick-fil-A restaurant owner Tyler Carter, View Outdoor Advertising and the cow of the hour gathered Jan. 10 to divulge what the infamous bovines have been up to.
The Merrillville advertising company announced its participation in Chick-fil-A’s award-winning marketing campaign featuring the cows urging people to “Eat Mor Chikin.” The campaign began in 1995, and has become part of the Chick-fil-A brand. The cow campaign includes billboards, television ads, cow calendars, wall ads, water towers and numerous other avenues.
The billboards are designed, manufactured, built and shipped from the Chick-fil-A agency in Dallas. Normally limited to major markets due to cost and installation, this location will be the only 3-D Cows billboard in the Chicagoland area.
Chick-fil-A’s billboard will be located at 49th Avenue and Interstate 65.
