INDIANAPOLIS – The Venture Club of Indiana announced today the launch of the 8th Annual Innovation Showcase. Started in 2009, the Innovation Showcase has become the largest venture conference in Indiana, with over 100 exhibiting companies and almost 1000 attendees each year, thanks to collaborative partners around the State.
This year’s conference will be held on July 14, 2016 at the Dallara IndyCar Factory in Speedway, Ind. More than 1,500 innovators, entrepreneurs and investors are expected to attend the event, where high-potential startups and scaleups will exhibit and pitch to investors.
Bill Godfrey, Co-Founder and CEO of Aprimo, and the 2016 Mira Awards “Investor of the Year”, will share his insights with attendees of the eighth annual showcase event (www.theinnovationshowcase.com).

During the day-long event, participating entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their companies, competing for a grand prize of over $75,000 in cash and services, and meet with institutional investors one-on-one. This year’s Innovation Showcase will also include an optional educational program and networking event designed for angel and other early stage investors on strategic challenges and opportunities in early stage funding. This will be held on July 13th, 2016 at the Dallara IndyCar Factory in Speedway, Ind. The educational programming will be presented by VisionTech and IU Kelley School of Business and will feature content on success drivers and fundable milestones, as well as an investor panel addressing strategic issues at different stages in the funding continuum.
