57th Sinai Forum opens Sept. 12

     MICHIGAN CITY – The 57th season of the Sinai Sunday Evening Forum, presented by Purdue University North Central, begins at 3 p.m. Sept. 12 with Lisa Ling.

    Ling is a field correspondent for Oprah, a contributor to ABC News Nightline and National Geographic Explorer.

    Other speakers are Bill Strickland, entrepreneur and CEO of the largest jazz subscription service in America, on Oct. 3; Robert Schmuhl, a University of Notre Dame professor and historian who will speak on American politics, on Oct. 24; Gail MarksJarvis, an author and financial journalist, who will speak on the stock market on Nov. 7; and Dr. Gebisa Ejeta, a professor of agronomy at Purdue University, who will speak on food safety, on Dec. 5.
