SOUTH BEND – The CPA firm of Kruggel, Lawton & Company LLC, has announced that five of its professionals have been awarded the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation. They are Rita Hochstedler, Leslie Hoeppner, Rita Miller, Kevin Zink, and Margene Zink.
The CGMA designation was created in 2012 through collaboration between two of the most highly regarded accountancy organizations – the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). It recognizes individuals with developed skills in management accounting, an area which combines operations, management and strategy. To qualify, professionals must have trained as a CPA, passing the Uniform CPA Examination and meeting educational requirements in their states.
