VALPARAISO – To help women learn more about daVinci Robotic Surgery, Porter Health System’s Healthy Women Program will hold a “Just Say NO to Abdominal Hysterectomy” seminar.
Cheryl Short, an OB/GYN, will present the program at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at the hospital’s Education & Rehabilitation Campus, 1401 Calumet Ave., Valparaiso.
She will talk about the daVinci system and how it is less invasive and other surgeries.
The Healthy Woman program is a free community resource designed to provide women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed healthcare and well-being decisions. While the program is free, those attending should register by calling, toll-free, 1-800-541-1861.
