WEST LAFAYETTE – Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management will host 28 veterans in its Entrepreneurship Boot Camp for Veterans with Disabilities. GARY – Wright Alcorn has been named vice president of operations at Methodist Hospitals in Gary. He has been interim vice president since February. He will be responsible for the Centers of Excellence, clinical ancillary departments and other area. Previously, he was with Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta and at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

GARY – Promet Energy Partners LLC, a wholesaler of natural gas and electric power, will open an office in Gary. MERRILLVILLE – Centier Bank has announced a 44 percent increase in its third quarter revenue to $72 million. President and CEO Mike Schrage said the bank has an active residential mortgage market in the quarter and that lower loan delinquencies helped the bank’s bottom line.
