MUNSTER — Continuing on their mission to spread cheer to sick children, the Flamini Foundation has delivered toys to the hospitals of Community Healthcare System. Children in the Pediatric units of Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart will be able to enjoy gifts designed to make their stay a little brighter.
“We’ve been doing this for a couple of years now,” Theresa Flamini said. “We have had several events this past year which helped raise the funds to purchase the toys for all of our hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses. We hosted our first annual golf outing at Glenwoodie Golf Club and the very next day we hosted another Garden Event with vendors at our home in St. John.”
