Gary names Hayes director of EDC

GARY – Forest Hayes has been named as the director of the Gary Economic Development Corp. He currently is director of the Gary Commerce Department. Hayes takes over for Tom Collins II, who headed the Gary EDC until last June. Collins is an executive with Luke Oil Co. in Hobart.

LaPorte expands industrial park
