CROWN POINT – The Gamma Theta chapter of Crown Point’s Tri Kappa sorority is making decorated chocolate Easter eggs. The sale of the eggs is our chapter’s largest fundraiser, raising over $9,000 for Crown Point area high school scholarship programs. VALPARAISO – The Indiana Master Naturalist Program is a 30-hour continuing education course for adults age 18 and over at Taltree Arboretum. HAMMOND – In response to a shortfall of Indiana-produced coke fuel needed by the steel industry, a team of Purdue University Calumet researchers has developed a new, less costly production process that has earned a patent.
