Methodist Hospitals’ employees from both campuses joined together in the spirit of the holidays to hold a holiday food drive and provide gifts to children in need. Perishable food items were donated to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. Employees once again teamed up with the Salvation Army to donate Angel Tree Gifts. This program collects and donates gifts to families with children who would be unable to receive presents on Christmas morning. Hospital staff members received an “Angel Child,” and donated gifts for him or her. The gifts were distributed to the families by the Salvation Army located in Gary, Indiana.
