She was responsible for NiSource’s customer service; human resources, including employee engagement and inclusion and labor relations; and enterprise communications, including leadership of the NiSource Charitable Foundation. Sistovaris was a core member of NiSource’s executive team. Prior to that, she served as president and CEO at NIPSCO. She was responsible for strategy, customer and employee satisfaction, operations, and financial and regulatory policy. She was the trailblazer behind NIPSCO’s renewable energy strategy, which entailed transitioning electric generation and improving infrastructure to serve customers even more efficiently, affordably and reliably. She recently came out of retirement and served as interim CEO at Jasper County REMC in Rensselaer.
