With nearly a decade of clinical experience spanning trauma surgical intensive care, virtual nursing and patient advocacy, Yates founded Premier Care Coordination to help patients and families navigate the gaps that exist between medical care and everyday life. She is passionate about empowering families to advocate confidently for the loved ones in their care, and about helping the healthcare system better serve the people it was built to support.
Yates lives and works in Northwest Indiana and serves clients nationwide through Premier Care Coordination's virtual care coordination model. Her writing focuses on patient advocacy, care coordination and the evolving role of nurses in modern healthcare.
