Elkhart-based Lippert named Jarod Lippert chief marketing officer after longtime marketing department leader Joe Thompson retired.
Thompson's sales and marketing career spanned 30 years. He took over the Lippert department in October 2020 where he led acquisition and branding initiatives.
Jarod Lippert, who has worked for the company for 21 years, spent the past 12 years leading its marketing efforts. He called Thompson a mentor.
“Joe has set an excellent example for how a global marketing department should be run,” Lippert said in a press release. “We will continue to be transparent in everything that we do and will always come prepared to help solve any of the challenges that come our way.”
Thompson will offer his expertise in an advisory role under the direction of Jamie Schnur, group president of Lippert aftermarket.
“I’ll always remember our commitment to culture, innovation, quality and the success of our customers,” Thompson said. “In the next few months, I will focus on the smooth transition of my responsibilities to Jarod Lippert.”
Thompson plans to retire in Texas and spend more time with family.
