A former Apple Inc. executive who spent years working with young people at the University of Notre Dame and the University of Chicago as well as other colleges across the country, will be the featured speaker at the Feb. 6 meeting of the Michiana chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Jack McLaughlin, who spent 25 years as a higher education executive with Apple, will discuss the evolution of computer and personal device giant from its beginnings to its rise to one of the most recognized brands in the world. The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Gillespie Conference Center, 53993 Indiana S.R. 933 in South Bend.
McLaughlin has held adjunct faculty roles at several colleges and has been a guest lecturer/speaker on various topics. Based on his passion for the study and practice of personal development, he authored, “Developing Habits for Success” program, a five-part program on work and career, interviewing skills, money management and overcoming obstacles for high school seniors.
