Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list for 2018 features 63 Indiana companies, including one in the top 10 and several from Northwest and North Central Indiana.
The Northwest and North Central Indiana companies on the list include (ordered by ranking on list):

- 3,837 – Peepers by PeeperSpecs, Michigan City

- 4,925 – Senior1Care, Mishawaka
The Garrett Companies, a real estate company in Greenwood, south of Indianapolis, was ranked 10th on the list. The firm reported revenues of $82.1 million.
The 2018 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2014 and 2017.
To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2014. Businesses must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of Dec. 31, 2017.
