1st Source Bank purchased the naming rights for the amphitheater at Central Park Plaza in downtown Valparaiso.
“1st Source Bank has been an incredible supporter of Valpo Parks and our mission to enrich the community through outstanding public spaces and programming,” said Tristan Leonhard, acting Valpo Parks director, in a press release. “From summer concerts to holiday celebrations, the 1st Source Bank Amphitheater is where thousands of memories will be made each year.”
The deal began Feb. 26 and will continue for 10 years.
“1st Source Bank is excited to partner with Valpo Parks to sponsor this terrific venue in the heart of Valparaiso’s downtown,” Matt Vessely, west region president at 1st Source Bank said. “We are committed to the communities where we live and work, and Valpo Parks does a great job of utilizing this amazing space to bring people together.”
The 12,000-square-foot amphitheater was built between 2011 and 2015 for $3 million, according to the Valpo Parks Foundation.
The amphitheater is home to the Great Egg Dash on March 14, Touch a Truck on June 7 and the Valparaiso Wine Festival on July 18, among other events. Learn more on Indiana Dunes Tourism website.
