Pete Visclosky is chairman of the Gary/Chicago International Airport Authority Board. He also was a congressman representing Indiana’s 1st District from Jan. 3, 1985, to Jan. 3, 2021. Born in Gary, Indiana, Visclosky has been a life-long resident of Northwest Indiana.He graduated from Andrean High School in Merrillville. He then earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Indiana University Northwest, a Juris Doctoris from the University of Notre Dame Law School, and a Master of Laws in international and comparative law from Georgetown University Law Center.
