AI Made Easy

Indiana University Northwest’s Business Academy is hosting a free workshop Jan. 10, titled AI Made Easy: 10 Wins for Your Small Business.

Many small business owners feel overwhelmed by new technology and wonder how AI can realistically help them. This workshop is designed for entrepreneurs with limited technical skills who want practical, easy-to-use solutions that save time, increase efficiency and improve customer engagement.

Sandra Mosley will serve as presenter. She will share insights into how to use AI to support a small business.

During the session, participants will:

  • Discover 10 AI wins that address everyday business challenges such as marketing, communication and scheduling.
  • See live demonstrations of user-friendly tools including ChatGPT (writing assistant and idea generator), Gamma.ai (AI-powered presentations), Claude and Perplexity (research and content support), Canva AI (design and social media graphics) and Calendly (automated scheduling).
  • Practice applying selected tools to their own business needs through guided laptop activities.
  • Leave with a one-page AI Wins Cheat Sheet and a personalized action step they can implement immediately.

The workshop balances teaching, live demos and guided practice. It aims to ensure that participants not only understand the tools but also gain confidence using them right away.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. Jan. 10. It will take place at IU Northwest. Participants must have a laptop/tablet and free ChatGPT account to fully participate. Learn more here.
