PORTER – Angie’s List has announced that Justin’s Tree Service in Porter has received its 2012 Super Service Awards. Angie’s List said 5 percent of the companies it lists receive the award based on customer reviews. LAPORTE – New York Blower has laid off 12 workers because of a decline in customer sales. The announcement was made by Glen Todd, director of human resources, who said the layoffs follow a reduction of 15 workers last October.
