VALPARAISO – Retailers Gordman’s and Hobby Lobby have announced plans to build in Valparaiso in the Vale Shopping Center on the city’s north side. Gordman’s plans a 50,000-square-foot store with construction to begin at the end of January, and Hobby Lobby plans a 57,000-square-foot store with construction to begin in the spring.

CHESTERTON – Urschel Laboratories will move headquarters and manufacturing from Valparaiso to Coffee Creek Center in Chesterton.
