The Crown Point-based Regional Development Authority is hosting two public hearings for the Beverly Shores/Pines Transit Development District boundary.
The hearings will take place May 8 and June 12 at the Purdue Technology Center in Crown Point. The meetings are open to the public. Anyone wishing to comment on the boundary is encouraged to attend.
For those unable to attend either of the public hearings, comments may be submitted in writing to the RDA offices or by email until June 12.

The Regional Development Authority was established in 2006 through a bipartisan effort including former Governor Mitchell Daniels, Congressman Peter Visclosky, state legislators and local elected officials. The RDA is quasi-governmental development entity. It is entrusted to make public investment decisions within a regional framework for supporting infrastructure projects and inducing private sector investment.
