GARY – The Gary SouthShore RailCats have named Kevin Spudic as president and general manager. The RailCats are a member of the independent American Association.
Spudic is a native of Highland and a graduate of Valparaiso University. He has previously worked for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Fire and the Chicago Enforcers. He also previously was assistant general manager of the RailCats from 2002-05.
He has 25 years of sports management experience. He helped to secure the 19-year naming rights deal with U.S. Steel in which the stadium was named the U.S. Steel Yard.
