LAPORTE – The LaPorte Hospital Foundation’s 11th annual Tour de LaPorte bike, run and walk event to benefit local cancer patients will be Saturday, Aug. 25, and Sunday, Aug. 26, at Soldiers Memorial Park.
Proceeds benefit Indiana University Health LaPorte and Starke hospitals patients. Last year, the 1,088 participants in Tour de LaPorte raised more than $55,000.
Run/walk events are Saturday and range from a half-marathon to a 5K walk. On Sunday, bike events ranging from five miles to 100 miles are scheduled.
