Local Leaders Serve Breakfast, Spread Hope

WHATNIPSCO and Round the Clock restaurants have partnered together to support residents and families in need this holiday season. Special guest servers will help serve and greet customers at Round the Clock in Highland from 7 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 as part of a fundraising effort benefiting the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. NIPSCO kick started the effort with a $20,000 matching donation, and Round the Clock will be contributing a portion of their sales. The money raised will be used to purchase food, which will be distributed at two mobile pantry events in Lake and Porter counties on Dec. 13 and 20. Jim Dedelow, host of “JED in the Region” on WJOB-1230 AM, will host a live broadcast.
