Good Ball, an indoor golf simulator and practice facility, is scheduled to open in early February.

Good Ball, at 235 Sheffield Ave. in Dyer, will feature a 1,500-square-foot area with a golf simulator, an indoor putting green and a workout area. Individuals or groups can rent the space for practice or parties.

The golf simulator will use Flightscope as its launch monitor and GSPro as its software. GSPro has over 700 golf courses in its software and 20 driving ranges. It also features junior golf games and online tournaments.

“Good Ball is a one-stop shop to get better and enjoy golf,” said Jeff Zurawicz, owner and operator of Good Ball.

Zurawicz is a certified PGA coach. He teaches at Scherwood Golf and 30 Second Golf Lessons. Zurawicz is also affiliated with the First Tee Junior Golf Program, teaching golfers as young as 6 years old. He taught over 700 lessons in 2023.

Born in Munster, Zurawicz said he chose to open Good Ball in Dyer because of the town’s economic development, healthy living and residents.

“Golf is a growing sport gaining in popularity. Jeff already has a great reputation in the Region golf community, and the service he’s bringing to the area should be very popular,” said Antony Miocic of Crown Point-based Latitude Commercial, in a press release. “As someone who doesn’t golf, a rarity in the commercial real estate field, Jeff may even be able to teach me.”

Latitude Commercial, a real estate services company, brokered the transaction. Latitude Commercial manages commercial properties throughout Indiana and Illinois.
