Purdue Northwest to host drop-in business event

Purdue University Northwest is celebrating Small Business Week May 8 with an event to connect small business manufacturers with resources to grow.

The drop-in event aims to connect manufacturers with lenders and export finance experts to help business owners explore their options. There will be no formal presentations, but conversations to help move small business manufacturers forward.

Made in America aims to connect small business owners with the resources they need to grow – whether expanding operations, investing in new equipment or entering global markets.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and build relationships to help grow their businesses at home and abroad. They will have an opportunity to meet with a variety of commercial lenders and representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration to discuss their business plan and funding needs.

The event will take place 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 8 at Purdue University Northwest’s Library Student Faculty Building in Westville. Learn more here.
