Twisted Sugar will soon be bringing their cookies and specialty sodas to Schererville.
The local franchisee recently signed a lease in the Fountain Park Shopping Center. Plans are to start renovations immediately.
Twisted Sugar is a gourmet cookie and soda shop with over 50 locations nationwide. The shop sells classic cookies, such as chocolate chip, and other flavors, including carrot cake, banana cream and raspberry pretzel cookies. Tonia and Mike Jardine opened the first Twisted Sugar location in 2016 in Layton, Utah.

We believe in creating moments of joy, indulgence and connection,” Twisted Sugar says on its website. “Whether you're treating yourself to a soda break, a well-deserved snack or sharing a box of cookies with loved ones, we're here to elevate your experience, one delicious bite at a time.”
Latitude Commercial represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
“This was a perfect fit for both the tenant and landlord,” said Brett McDermott, Latitude Commercial co-founder and senior VP, in a press release. “Twisted Sugar is a very popular concept and will fit in great with the current tenants in the shopping center.”
Latitude Commercial provides commercial real estate services such as purchasing, leasing and commercial property management throughout Indiana and Illinois. The company is based in Crown Point. Latitude Commercial was founded in 2009.
