Jet’s Pizza is planning to open a new franchise location in Hammond, according to Crown Point-based Latitude Commercial.
Construction on the location at 7943 Indianapolis Blvd. should begin immediately with the goal to open in a few months.
“I’m excited to help bring Jet’s Pizza into Hammond,” said Brett McDermott of Latitude Commercial, which represented both the landlord and tenant. “It’s a great location for them being able to deliver to multiple nearby communities.”
The new Jet's will join a Dunkin' Donuts and Verizon Wireless store. A Jet's recently opened in Schererville at 332 Indianapolis Blvd.
Jet's Pizza specializes in Detroit-style square pizza that has a crunch and signature crust.
Jet's Pizza has locations in 22 states, including 12 already open in Indiana. Restaurants are serving customers in Elkhart, Hobart and Mishawaka in the Region. The first Jet's opened in 1978 in Detroit.
Latitude Commercial offers commercial real estate services in the states of Illinois and Indiana.
