Rotary Means Business hosts event

Rotary Means Business Northwest Indiana is bringing regional Rotary Clubs together for a networking event Aug. 14.

Rotary Clubs from Crown Point, Merrillville, Schererville, Hammond and Valparaiso plan to attend. The event is designed to connect and empower business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals and community leaders from across the Region. It also aims to introduce the mission and advocacy work of Rotary Clubs throughout Northwest Indiana.

The event will include open networking and speed networking sessions. Attendees will also hear about upcoming Rotary volunteer opportunities.

“This event is about building meaningful connections,” said Joe Skibbie, Crown Point Rotarian and owner of JRS Mar/Com, in a press release. “We’re creating a platform for business leaders to thrive, collaborate and explore how Rotary’s values align with professional success and community service.”

Rotary Means Business Northwest Indiana is a local chapter of the global Rotary Means Business Fellowship. Rotary Means Business offers a space for business and service to come together. It provides opportunities to grow professional networks while contributing to community impact.

The networking event is open to the public. Rotary membership is not required. The event is geared toward business owners, nonprofit leaders and professionals seeking purpose-driven connections.

The event will take place 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14, at the Purdue Technology Center in Crown Point.
