JRS Mar/Com expands team

JRS Mar/Com recently welcomed Samantha Walker, Onija Davis, Sean Agyeman and Sameer Sheikh to its team.

Walker and Davis will serve as social media managers. Agyeman will serve as project manager. Sheikh will serve as web developer and content administrator.

Walker has a background in graphic design, content strategy and brand management. She has served in previous roles as a content coordinator, designer and project manager. Walker earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Indiana University Northwest.

“Creativity and design have always been a passion of mine,” Walker said in a press release. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to play a significant role in the continued growth of the businesses we work with and I’m excited to be a part of the JRS Mar/Com team.”

Davis will lead content creation, campaign planning and social media management. She previously led social media and marketing efforts for NOFLO Treats, a campaign created to spotlight North Florida eateries. Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in business communications and media.

“I’ve always been drawn to the power of social media and its ability to shape conversations, build community and elevate brands,” Davis said. “I’m excited for the opportunity to collaborate with the team at JRS Mar/Com and bring fresh energy and insight to our digital strategy.”

Agyeman brings experience in managing projects across multiple industries, including cinematic, sports and nonprofits, to his new role. His prior accomplishments include DOMINO: Battle of the Bones, marketing for artists including Wiz Khalifa and health care work at the American Medical Association.

Sheikh brings experience with data engineering, cloud infrastructure, social media management, digital graphic design and marketing to his new role. Most recently, Sheikh worked as a cloud infrastructure services engineer at UST Global. He received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Illinois Institute of Technology.

“I’m passionate about art and design in any capacity, whether it’s drawing/sketching or making digital animations, Sheikh said. “I’m looking forward to expressing my creativity and learning about the field of marketing and communications during my role at JRS. Most importantly, I’m excited to work with and be part of a tight-knit and productive team.”
