Chris Barbauld and Rick Bella have more in common than successful businesses in Valparaiso. The two also know the importance of storytelling when starting and growing a business. “Impossible to Ignore,” a new digital publication, was born from that idea.
“Impossible to Ignore” brings Bella's photographs and Barbauld's marketing acumen together to reinforce the idea that “great marketing isn’t optional — it’s essential.”
“Collectively, our teams have helped countless brands sharpen their voice, clarify their message, and stand out with visuals and storytelling that capture attention and drive real results,” the pair shared in a press release.
The first issue focuses on the power of collaboration, using their own story to highlight the point.
“Each issue of Impossible to Ignore will share real stories, practical marketing strategies, and insights into how powerful imagery can reshape how the world sees your business,” according to the introduction to the issue.
Both have successful businesses that transform the way their clients promote their products and services.
Barbauld opened the Barbauld Agency in 2009, and has since brought home many awards. In September, it won a Bronze Summit Award in the Summit Award Credit Union Category for its marketing and advertising refresh for Advance Financial FCU, and was one of seven finalists for a Shorty Award in the Paid & Amplification category for a campaign the agency completed for Porter-based Trailer Transit.
Bella Photography also has earned awards this year, including a gold and silver from the global 2025 MUSE Photography Awards. Bella’s gold-winning image, Skilled Care, captures surgeons in action at Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute in Chesterton.
