Alpha Prime Communications recently purchased office space in the Galleria, a retail and office building in Dyer.

Northbrook, Illinois-based Alpha Prime Communications provides communications equipment and services to local businesses and government agencies. The company serves the Chicago area and other areas throughout the United States.

“Alpha Prime was looking to add a new location in Indiana,” said Ashlee Tortorici, account specialist, at Alpha Prime Communications. “We thought the Galleria condominiums was easily accessible and had good visibility.”

The space will be subdivided into two units. Alpha Primal Fitness will occupy the south side of the unit. The fitness facility will provide personal training sessions to employs and the public.

“As a family-owned, small business our health and the health of our children is just as important if not more than our careers,” said Tortorici. “We are all about creating a healthy environment and want to share our passion and education with the community of Dyer and Northwest Indiana.”

PBS, a design-build firm with offices in Crete, Illinois, and Crown Point, will create the new space for Alpha Prime.

“Working with PBS, we explained our needs and goals, and they were able to propose a packaged deal that used the space to accommodate our needs, Tortorici said. “The ease of working with a company like PBS is that every aspect is accounted for, and they have the experience and expertise to guide us through the process.”

Crown Point-based Latitude Commercial represented both the buyer and seller of the property.

“We are delighted to have facilitated the purchase and sale of this property,” said Chandler Kimmel, Latitude Commercial associate broker, in a press release. “We are confident that this acquisition will provide the buyer with a strong foundation for success and enable them to achieve their business objectives.”

Latitude Commercial provides commercial real estate services. They offer purchasing, leasing, landlord and tenant representation and commercial property management. Latitude Commercial serves Indiana and Illinois.

“Alpha Prime Communications is looking to grow its customer base in education, manufacturing, public safety, and transportation,” Tortorici said. “Alpha Primal is seeking families that are looking to improve their health through fitness and coaching.”

Alpha Prime Communications was founded in 1995. Its main locations are in Northbrook and Monee. The company is family owned and managed.
