ENX Magazine recently recognized Stephen Sheridan of Midwest-based Pulse Technology for his contributions to the industry.

Each year, ENX, a national trade journal, seeks peer and industry recommendations for the people who are making a difference in the industry. The magazine showcases a select group of professionals from across the United States.

“The Difference Makers get things done, regardless of the degree of difficulty, because they’re predisposed to critical thinking and problem solving,” the magazine’s editors said.

Sheridan has worked for Pulse Technology for 43 years. As service director, he oversees the company’s service department, warehouse operations and dispatching. Sheridan joined the company out of high school when the company was known as Des Plaines Office Equipment. He began his career building fuser rollers and setting up equipment in high school.

“One doesn’t survive 43 years without becoming a master of their craft, and Sheridan is no exception,” the magazine’s editors said. “A tech at heart, it’s not unusual to see Sheridan jump on dispatch calls and meet with technicians and clients.”

Vince Miceli, Pulse Technology’s VP of technology, also praised Sheridan.

“He is the definition of Difference Maker, going above and beyond every time,” Miceli said. “He’s been an integral part of our company’s growth for four decades.”

Pulse Technology is in the field of print management, network services, furniture design and sales, office products, mailing equipment and custom products. The company has a history dating back to 1955. Pulse Technology is the re-branded name for Des Plaines Office Equipment, McShane’s and Kramer Leonard. Pulse Technology has locations in Merrillville, and Rockford and Schaumburg, Illinois.
