Here’s a “perk” you don’t find at too many companies – a cruise from Rome to Barcelona and along the French Riviera.
Pulse Technology rewarded its top performers with the 10-day cruise as part of its President's Club.
“We are all proud of everyone who earned their place on this getaway,” said Vince Miceli, vice president of Pulse Technology, in a press release. “The trip was a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and excellence that our top performers bring to the company every day. Their commitment to success continues to drive our growth, and I’m already looking forward to seeing who will join us next year!”
Twenty-one people made the list this year, including Mildret Delgadillo, administration manager; Andris Hansen, IT specialist; Gerry Rios, installer; Rick Silva, senior service technician; Paul Miceli, director, audio-visual; Tim Branion, senior account executive; Greg Fox, large account furniture executive; Nancy Mathena, furniture sales; Abigail Mancione, furniture designer; Joelle Christie, senior IT engineer; Chip Miceli, CEO; and Terry Miceli, travel and event coordinator and assistant to the CEO.
“By far, this was the most amazing trip ever,” said Tim Branion, who leads the sales effort at Pulse’s Merrillville location. “Chip and the team went out of their way to make this a special trip!”
Branion, who has been with the company for eight years, earned a President’s Club vacation for a fourth time. He also previously worked for Xerox and Circuit City.
“I’ve never worked at a place where I could call the owner,” he said. “I can’t convey enough my appreciation for what they do for us.”
This year, the trip included stops in Rome, Naples and Genoa, Italy; Menton and Villefranche-sur-Mer, France; and Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Palamos and Barcelona, Spain.
“There were so many events to choose from – excursions, touring a winery, touring Genoa (Italy), and other cities along the way. The ship was great; the food and service were fabulous,” Terry Miceli said.
Other years, winners have earned vacations in the Dominican Republic, Hawaii, Alaska and Cancun.
Pulse Technology was founded in 1955 and has since grown to include re-branded businesses such as McShane’s, and Kramer Leonard. The company offers print management, network services, audio-visual, furniture design and sales, office products, mailing equipment and other supplies.
