Michigan City-based CLH, CPAs & Consultants recently promoted Angela Grothaus and Lisa Human to director roles.
Grothaus and Human are longtime employees who also work to make an impact in the community.
“In their nearly 10 years with CLH, both Angela and Lisa have taken on a variety of new roles and responsibilities and have contributed such value to our firm,” said Tony Gillisse, CPA and partner, in a press release. “They’re excellent role models for our team, and we look forward to the next chapter of their growth.”
Grothaus is a certified public account and certified valuation analyst. She joined CLH as a senior staff accountant in 2014. Grothaus later advanced to senior manager. Her work focuses on business valuations, managing income tax, assurance and financial reporting projects. Grothaus will continue working at CLH’s Valparaiso location.
Grothaus also serves as the treasurer for the Art Barn School of Art and the Chesterton Gymnastics Club. She is a member of the AICPA, Indiana CPA Society and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Human is a certified public accountant. She joined the firm as a staff accountant in 2014 and later became a senior manager. Human advises clients on tax implications and assists business owners with developing best practices. Human will continue working at CLH’s Michigan City location.
Human serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations in the Region, including the Duneland Chamber of Commerce, and is on the advisory board of Ivy Tech Community College. She is also a member of the AICPA and Indiana CPA Society.
