Haire Group develops new machine

Merrillville-based Haire Group is introducing the Apstar GTS Flexo Folder Gluer, a new machine engineered for better performance.

The Apstar GTS was built based on evolving customer needs.

“This machine represents everything independents have been asking for,” said Danny Lopez, Haire Group vice president of new machinery sales, in a press release.

Operators can prep the next job while the current one is running, ensuring faster changeovers and greater efficiency. Every unit of the machine is controlled by servo motors for greater accuracy and minimal setup waste. The machine offers real-time diagnostics and predictive maintenance allow for consistent uptime and fewer surprises. It allows for high-end graphics with consistency on a wide range of board grades and flute profiles. The machine maintains box integrity and speed up production transitions with slotting options.

“With the Apstar GTS, we’re delivering a smarter, faster and more flexible solution that future-proofs production while preserving operator ease, all at a lower total cost of ownership,” Lopez said.
