White Lodging receives Gallup workplace award

Merrillville-based White Lodging is one of 62 companies across the globe to win the 2025 Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award.

This award recognizes engaged workplace cultures. This is the fifth year that White Lodging has earned the award.

“An engaged workplace today is a thriving workplace tomorrow,” said Jean-Luc Barone, White Lodging CEO, in a press release. “We invest in our people because they invest so much in us.”

White Lodging provides ongoing training, leadership development and mentorship programming. Over the past two years, the programs have helped lower turnover by 22% and reduce management job openings by 69%.

“White Lodging’s commitment to creating an environment where employees feel valued, heard and empowered to do their best work is truly remarkable,” Jon Clifton, Gallup CEO, said. “By prioritizing both people and performance, they are shaping the future of work and proving that exceptional workplaces drive real results.”

White Lodging develops, owns and manages about 60 hotels, 50 restaurants and a collection of luxury ranches and rooftop bars. White Lodging has developed over 210 new hotels since its founding in 1985.
