A new Jersey Mike’s Subs opened Nov. 12, at 275 E. US Hwy 30 in Schererville. 

Franchise owners Kamlesh, Raj and Sanjay Patel are hosting a fundraiser Nov. 12 to 16 to support Top Tier Baseball. Customers who receive a fundraising coupon distributed through a grassroots effort can make a minimum $3 contribution to Top Tier Baseball in exchange for a regular sub.

Jersey Mike’s meats and cheeses are sliced on the spot and piled on in-store baked bread. Jersey Mike’s fans often crave their subs made Mike’s Way – topped with onions, lettuce and tomatoes and a splash of a red wine vinegar and an olive oil blend.

Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations have raised over $175 million for local charities. In 2025, the company’s 15th Annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving in March raised $30 million for over 200 local charities.
