White Lodging earned a spot on J.D. Power's 2024 North America Third-Party Hotel Management Guest Satisfaction Benchmark.

The Merrillville-based company was ranked the No. 3 company in overall customer satisfaction.

“Our hospitalitarians work every day to offer a memorable guest experience through exceptional service – and have for nearly 40 years,” said White Lodging Chief Executive Officer Jean-Luc Barone in a press release. “This consistent independent recognition is a testament to the dedication and passion they bring to their work and the investments we make in keeping our properties best-in-class.”

Andrea Stokes, hospitality practice lead at J.D. Power, said the 2024 benchmark released Sept. 4 is particularly notable because of higher rates on rooms that cause customers to have high expectations for hotel stays.

“Third-party management companies operating branded hotels are really firing on all cylinders by consistently delivering well-maintained buildings, cleaner guest rooms and an overall better guest experience than those seen among independently operated branded properties and even chain-managed properties,” said Andrea Stokes, hospitality practice lead at J.D. Power, in a press release.

White Lodging develops, owns and operates hotels, restaurants and rooftops throughout the U.S. Its portfolio includes 60 hotels, including the Marriott, IHG (Kimpton), Hyatt and Hilton brands.

The J.D. Power analysis is in its fifth year and is based on communications and connectivity, food and beverage, guest rooms, hotel facilities, staff service and value.
