Urologic Specialists of Northwest Indiana has joined Solaris Health Holdings as an affiliate.
The health specialty has 12 providers who serve 22,000 patients each year. It has locations in Merrillville, Highland, Hobart and Valparaiso.
“By scaling up with Solaris, we will be able to continually elevate the quality of care we provide to our patients while preserving our autonomy,” said Dr. Bruce Yalowitz, co-managing partner of Urologic Specialists of Northwest Indiana, in a press release. “This decision strengthens our commitment to clinical excellence and treating patients with compassion, mutual respect and trust.”
Doctors at Urologic Specialists include: Ramesh Unni, Tyler Emley, Ted Capoccia, Manoj Rao, Ted Vellos, Priyanka Kumar, Bruce Yalowitz, Brian Billmeyer, Ryan Swearingen, Kevin Parikh and Adam Perlmutter.
With this addition, Florida-based Solaris Health has 625 providers who care for 885,000 patients a year in 13 states.
McDermott Will & Emery LLP served as legal counsel to Solaris on the Urologic Specialists deal. Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP served as legal counsel to Urologic Specialists, and Physician Growth Partners LLC acted as financial advisors.
