Munster-based Community Healthcare System landed the top spot on Forbes magazine’s 2023 list of America’s Best Employers in Indiana.

Forbes partnered with Statista, a market research firm, to survey 70,000 U.S. employees at companies with more than 500 employees. The survey asked workers to rate their employers in categories such as working environment, pay equity, advancement opportunities and brand loyalty, among other questions.

“Community Healthcare System values, appreciates and respects every hardworking member of our team,” said Donald Fesko, CEO of Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana Inc., parent company of Community Healthcare System, in a press release. “That team mentality and deep appreciation for those who make our system the very best for our patients are what strengthen us as an organization.”
