Indiana University Northwest is addressing the need for more lawyers in the Region by offering an LSAT preparation course in January.
Law schools throughout the U.S. usually require the Law School Admission Test to apply to their programs. The goal of the classes is to help potential lawys improve their LSAT scores.
“Northwest Indiana is struggling in the face of an attorney shortage,” said Jana Szostek, IU Northwest pre-law advisor, in a press release. “We are proud to now expand our LSAT prep course program to assist future lawyers across Northwest Indiana.”
The in-person program will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays Jan. 27 through April 14 on the IU Northwest campus in Gary. Spring break is March 10 and 17. It will offer tips and strategies for taking the exam.
The course costs $500 for students and community members. Enrollees must register in advance. A $120 subscription to the LSAC LawHub is required.
